By A church in the Ayawaso Constituency in the Greater Accra Region has faced sanctions for violating the ban on noise-making.
The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) imposed a ban on drumming and noise-making from Monday, May 6th to Thursday, June 6th, 2024, within the Ga State, as stated in a release signed by the Head of Public Affairs, Gilbert Nii Ankrah. The ban aimed to curb all forms of noise-making activities.
However, a circulated video indicates that a church violated the ban laws on Sunday and has since been apprehended by the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA).
