A police officer has been detained following an alleged fatal shooting incident at Manso Adubia

The Ashanti South Regional Police Command has detained a police officer after an alleged fatal shooting incident occurred on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Manso Adubia in the Ashanti Region.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear.

However, the Ghana Police Service released a statement indicating that Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, has reached out to the deceased’s wife and family. Furthermore, Dr. Dampare has dispatched a high-powered police delegation to offer condolences to the family while investigations into the incident continue.
