By Eldah Naa Abiana Dickson, the sensational female vocalist known by her stage name Abiana, has received four nominations at the esteemed Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) 2023 edition.
Abiana has been nominated for Best Album/EP of the Year, her song ‘Far Away’ is a contender in the Record of The Year category, and her exceptional vocal performance has earned her a nomination for Best Female Vocal Performance.
She was also recognized with a nomination for Best Highlife Artiste of The Year.
The annual event, formerly known as the VGMA, celebrates the top talents in the Ghanaian music industry and acknowledges their significant contributions to the creative arts sector.
Throughout the review period, Abiana demonstrated exceptional dedication, releasing her debut EP titled “Taste of Africa.” This EP featured hit songs such as “Far Away,” “African Highlife,” “Desire,” and “High,” among others, showcasing her versatility and talent.
Abiana’s soulful and enchanting voice has enchanted listeners in Ghana and beyond, earning her widespread acclaim. Her nomination for “Best Female Vocal Performance” comes as no surprise given her remarkable talent.
