The Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs has expressed appreciation for the impactful contributions made by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, during his tenure as Vice President. They commended his dedication to various transformative projects.
Additionally, the traditional leaders voiced their endorsement of Dr. Bawumia’s vision for Ghana and his proposed policies. During a gathering in Goaso, where Dr. Bawumia engaged with the Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs, he outlined his vision and elaborated on the policies across different sectors intended to tackle the nation’s challenges and propel its progress.
Following Dr. Bawumia’s presentation, several traditional rulers expressed their support for his policies and his presidential aspirations.
The opening remarks came from Nana Ansah Adu Baah, President of the Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs, who praised Dr. Bawumia’s humility and conveyed trust in his policies and capacity to lead the nation as President.
“Dr. Bawumia’s humility and policies are good for the country and the next generation. I have no doubt in my mind Bawumia means well for Ghana,” said Nana Ansah Adu Baah, who is also the Omanhene of Yamfo Traditional Area.
“The way he is humble is so admirable. I believe if he continues as our next President, it will be good for this country and the next generation. Let us help him and vote for him massively because he has good policies for this country. And his humility is really good for this country because it promotes peace and unity.”
The Omanhene of Hwediem, Traditional Area, Osuodumgya Barima Appiah Dwaah Boafo II, joined in praising Dr. Bawumia for his efforts and policies. Similarly, the Omanhene of Kukuom, Traditional Area, Osahene Kweku Aterkyi II, lauded Dr. Bawumia for spearheading a significant digitalization initiative, expressing admiration for his leadership in this transformative endeavor.
“I commend Vice President Bawumia for what he has been able to do with the digitalisation of our country. It is remarkable and very transformative- something which is helping the country, particularly the youth.”
Nana Adwoapo Dwamena Serwaa II, the Omanhemaa of Bechem Traditional Area, expressed profound admiration for Dr. Bawumia, affirming his destined role as the next President and pledging their support to actualize his vision.
Similarly, Nana Akwasi Bosompra I, the Omanhene of Goaso, praised the NPP Government for the array of developmental projects emerging in the Ahafo Region, particularly in Goaso. He attributed these advancements to the establishment of the new Ahafo Region by the NPP Government.
