Akufo-Addo reshuffles Upper West, Upper East Regional Ministers

President Nana Akufo-Addo has announced a reshuffle in the regional composition of his government, effective April 4, 2024. This was communicated through a statement signed and issued by Eugene Arhin, the Director of Communication at the Office of the President, on Thursday, April 4.

According to the statement, Stephen Yakubu, the Upper East Regional Minister, has been reassigned to serve as the Upper West Regional Minister.

On the other hand, Hafiz Bin Salih, the current Upper West Regional Minister, will assume the position of the new Upper East Regional Minister.

The statement highlighted that these adjustments are part of the ongoing initiatives by the Akufo-Addo-led administration to enhance governance nationwide. Additionally, President Akufo-Addo charged the ministers with the responsibility of working diligently to advance the welfare and development of the residents in the Upper West and Upper East regions.
