By The Ghana Police Service on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting incident in Bereku, Central Region.
The suspect, identified as Nai Akwasi Lartey, was reportedly wielding a pump-action gun and injured one person during the Awubia Festival.
According to a police statement, the victim was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
The statement also noted that the pump-action gun, along with some BB cartridges, was retrieved from the suspect.
“Suspect Nai Akwasi Lartey is in Police custody assisting in the investigation.”
