By The New Patriotic Party (NPP) extends its heartfelt appreciation to all stakeholders whose efforts contributed to the successful Ejisu by-election held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
In a statement issued on Thursday, May 2, 2024, the party recognized the invaluable contributions of several prominent figures, including President Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Mrs. Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, Chief of Staff, and Ashanti Regional Chairman Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako. Their dedication and commitment were instrumental in ensuring the smooth conduct of the electoral process.
The statement, signed by the party’s General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua, also emphasized the pivotal roles played by the Ashanti Regional Executives, Regional Chairmen of the Party, the Campaign Team, as well as the constituency executives, Assembly Members, Electoral Area Coordinators, and Polling Station Executives. Their collective efforts contributed significantly to the overall success of the by-election.
The NPP conveyed its gratitude to every individual whose contributions led to their success in the by-election.
Furthermore, the party extended its appreciation to the Ghana Police Service and the Electoral Commission (EC) for their diligent efforts in ensuring a transparent and well-managed electoral process.
Looking ahead, the NPP called upon all party members to come together and concentrate on the upcoming limited registration exercise, slated to begin on May 7, 2024.
