Firefighters rescue a woman trapped in a gutter grating in the Ashanti Region

A team of fire officers from the Kejetia Fire Post in the Ashanti Region promptly responded to a distress call and successfully rescued a woman whose leg was trapped in a metal grating.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, May 22, near the Kuffour Clinic in Adum, Kumasi.

Upon reaching the scene, the fire officers evaluated the situation and expertly used a hydraulic ram to pry open the metal cover of the gutter, freeing the woman’s right leg, which had become ensnared in the grating.

Thanks to the swift and skilled response of the Kejetia Fire Post team, the woman was safely rescued without further harm, showcasing the fire officers’ steadfast commitment to safeguarding the community.
