The GaDangbe Muslim Council has presented an award and citation to Hon. Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, the MP for Odododiodioo and the Chairman of the Greater Accra Minority Caucus in Parliament in recognition of his selfless commitment to the unity and development of the GaDangbe people.
They acknowledged that the Honourable Member of Parliament has shown exemplary leadership and dedication to the needs and aspirations of the GaDangbe people.
They said the award is to encourage other GaDangbes who find themselves in positions of influence to think about the future of the people. They advised Hon.
Nii Lantey Vanderpuye to continue with his distinguished leadership and sacrifice for the cause of unity and development of the GaDangbe people and not to be discouraged by the slow pace of their unity and development.
They urged him to aspire to higher heights and use it to serve the interests of the nation and GaDangbes.
In his response, the Hon. Nii Lantey Vanderpuye expressed his gratitude for the recognition and thanked the Council for their support and guidance. He assured them of his commitment and desire to do more than he has ever done to bring dignity, respect, unity, and development to GaDangbes.
He asked for their prayers and counsel at all times to help him in his political journey. The Council formally invited him to be the guest speaker of their next Congress.
