Ghanaian defender Maxwell Woledzi earns a spot in the Norwegian Eliteserien Spring Team of the Season

Maxwell Woledzi, the Ghanaian international, has secured a spot in the Spring Team of the Season for the Norwegian top flight.

This central defender has been an ever-present figure for his team, having started every game in the league. His pivotal contributions were instrumental in securing their promotion from the First Division last season.

Woledzi has emerged as a defensive stalwart for Fredrikstad FK, maintaining their strong form since their debut in the Eliteserien.

The 22-year-old has showcased remarkable consistency, featuring in all 12 league matches for the club and contributing five assists along the way.

In the top flight, the Ghanaian averages two interceptions per game, a statistic surpassed only by Martin Owe Roseth (2.1).

Within the Fredrikstad squad, Woledzi leads in successful dribbles and tackles won, while also boasting the highest passing accuracy.

As the season progresses, Woledzi aims to sustain his impressive performance in the Norwegian top flight.
