Haruna Iddrisu praises Edem Agbana and other young NDC candidates at the Ketu North campaign launch

Haruna Iddrisu, Member of Parliament for Tamale South, has hailed Edem Agbana, the NDC parliamentary candidate for Ketu North, as a symbol of the party’s renewal and future direction.

Speaking at Agbana’s campaign launch in Dzodze, the municipal capital of Ketu North, Iddrisu highlighted the importance of this new generation of NDC candidates in representing a fresh and dynamic future for the party.

In his address, Iddrisu also expressed confidence in the return of former President John Dramani Mahama’s administration, asserting that Mahama is ready to address what he termed the “mess” created by the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

He urged the people of Ketu North to back Edem Agbana and the NDC in the upcoming 2024 elections, emphasizing the importance of a united effort to achieve victory.

John Dumelo, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, was also present at the event. He assured voters that every ballot cast on December 7, 2024, would be safeguarded.

Dumelo’s remarks underscored the party’s dedication to a transparent and fair electoral process.

The campaign launch was a significant event for Edem Agbana, who, in a media interview, emphasized that the NDC is the only political party that truly provides meaningful opportunities and supports the development of young people.

Agbana, brimming with optimism, forecasted that the NDC would win over 95% of the votes in Ketu North in the upcoming general elections.

As the 2024 elections approach, the NDC’s focus on youth representation and leadership, as demonstrated by candidates like Edem Agbana, positions the party as a powerful contender in Ghanaian politics.
