By The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) has scheduled its first and second presidential debates for October 22 and November 19, 2024, respectively.
The IEA also announced plans for one vice presidential debate on November 5, 2024, and five Evening Encounters leading up to the December 7 elections. The first of these Evening Encounters will take place on Wednesday, September 18, with the final one expected on Tuesday, October 15.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has already declared that its flagbearer will not participate in the debates, citing concerns about the credibility of the organizers.
