Mahama offers condolences to Chief Imam following the passing of his wife

The National Democratic Congress flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has visited the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, to offer his condolences following the passing of his wife, Hajia Ramatu Sharubutu.

Hajia Rahmatu Tahwee Sheikh Sharubutu passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, March 27, 2024, and has since been laid to rest in accordance with Islamic tradition.

Before the burial, Janazah prayers were held in the residence of the National Chief Imam.

A statement released by the spokesperson of the Chief Imam, Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu, disclosed that she passed away on Wednesday, March 27, although the cause of her death remains undisclosed.
