Ceo of Streetwise Promotions Mr. Michael Amoo-Bediako who also doubles as the manager for Ghana’s former IBF World champion Richard ‘Azonto’ Commey makes a kind gesture of donating huge Boxing equipments to one of the struggling gyms in Accra,Ghana named Jamestown Boxing Club.
Numerous boxing gyms in Ghana have been forced to shut temporary through the lack of equipments to keep them going in their various gyms,Michael Amoo Bediako is concerned that many boxers will have to hang up their gloves if some of them are not getting the equipments to work with and not been pushed financially.
It’s a sad testimony to Ghana seeing up and coming boxers train under this circumstance with no good gloves, headguards and no proper ring to spar in,We have to provide to get the right equipments for you and if we can’t provide we have the means to spread the news out there for others to come on board to help support your work, said the manager Amoako-Bediako
He further went ahead to thank BoxfitUk for supporting him and his Streetwise Foundation over years now,The condition some of the boxers go through to train is unbearable and he is from the bottom of him heart thanking the BoxfitUk for everything and make great deals with him and also thanked Fenic and wife Lisa for helping him fund this foundation
High priest of the GA land Nuumo Niikoi Amasah II (Nuumo Klan) said,You must give respect to your coaches on whatever sacrifice they are giving out there to make your career successful,Through this man some of you may have a better life out of the donation and have a feel of using good equipments so be mindful and think about where you want to take your career to and I know you will be great in the near future for mother Ghana if you respect the work that you do.
The Coaches of the Jamestown Boxing Club were speechless because they’ve never seen a huge donation made to the club like this before,Coach Randy onbehalf of the club thanked Mr. Michael Amoo-Bediako for whatever he has done for the Club and all what he intend doing for them
Africanus Neequaye who also trains out of the Jamestown Boxing Club and a signee to the Streetwise Foundation said seeing this donations to his Gym has boosted him even more to work extra to achieve his dreams of getting a world title at a younger age has he always dreams of.
In attendance were notable men within Accra who have been monitoring the young boys career (Africanus Neequaye) from afar and they Asafoatse Abashie II II,Nuumom Akotokante I and Lawyer Acrchibald Nii Martei Commodore
