Head of Business Enablement at stanbic bank Ghana, Marian Amartey, was last weekend outdoored as Queen Mother of Asere Amartse-We in the Ga Traditional Area with the stool name, Manye Naa Amorkor Shikafutru I.
The coronation ceremony, held at Bukom Square was graced by the Asere Dzasetse Nii Amarkai III, Chiefs and Queens of the Asere Traditional Council, Pishegu Lana Naa Alhassan Andani, the Bank’s Chief Executive, Kwamina Asomaning and its Executive Committee.
Naa Amorkor ShikaFutru I in her address touched on the socio-economic needs of the community, and used the opportunity to launch her flagship initiative the #GirlPowerProject. According to her, the project would adopt a holistic approach to create opportunities for girls, promote gender equality, build self-esteem, provide education and resources, and foster leadership skills among our girls.
As a bank committed to making a positive impact in the communities it serves, Kwamina reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to extend their support and expertise and to foster a conducive environment for Naa Amorkor’s success, as well as the advancement of her aspirations.
In a heartening message the bank expressed “Hearty Congratulations from the Blue Family to you, Naa Amorkor Shikafutru I! May your reign be dotted with unending successes and the impact of your leadership felt beyond the borders of Asere.”
