Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team, the Black Stars, have a new management committee in the wake of the team’s disastrous 2025 AFCON qualification campaign.
After Ghana’s elimination from qualification was confirmed, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) dissolved the management committee that was chaired by GFA Vice President Mark Addo.
GFA Executive Council (EXCO) Member Dr. Randy Abbey, former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah, Medeama SC President, Moses Armah, FC Samartex President Richard Nsenkyire and Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association, Samuel Aboabire, make up the five man committee.
Dr. Abbey will serve as the Committee Chairman with Appiah serving as the Vice Chairman while being responsible for Player Relations.
Matchday activities and operations will be handled by Samuel Aboabire and Moses Armah while Richard Nsenkyire take care of special duties in connection to the Black Stars.
The Black Stars next engagement is a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad on March 19.
