By The Majority in Parliament has accused the Minority of deceiving Ghanaians with their explanations regarding the Ghana Revenue Authority’s (GRA) contract with Strategic Mobilization Ghana Limited (SML).
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, the Majority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, stated that the Minority continues to spread falsehoods due to upcoming elections.
In his view, the Minority has made it a hallmark to lie and tarnish the government’s image for political gains.
Reacting to a recent NDC press conference that questioned parliamentary approval and alleged that state agencies were signing multi-year contracts without authorization, Effutu MP Alexander Afenyo-Markin accused the Minority of politicizing the issues.
He accused the NDC of making reckless comments that scare investors and undermine the government’s efforts.
