Independent Presidential Candidate George Twum-Barimah-Adu has called on Ghanaians to choose leaders who can drive national transformation rather than those motivated by personal gain.
He made this appeal after submitting his nomination forms to the Electoral Commission on September 9, 2024, in preparation for the 2024 Presidential Election.
Twum-Barimah-Adu highlighted the importance of electing transformative and visionary leaders, qualities he believes he embodies.
“There is so much Ghana wants to offer all her children if only her children will choose to elect leaders who are capable, bold, transformative and visionary. Not leaders who are partisan and for that matter parochial”, he said.
Twum-Barimah-Adu has expressed dissatisfaction with the term “Independent Presidential Candidate,” which designates individuals running without party affiliation. He has advocated for all presidential hopefuls to be referred to simply as “Presidential Candidates.”
Among the many running without party support in the December 7th presidential election, Twum-Barimah-Adu aims to challenge the dominance of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ghana’s 4th Republic.
As a tech entrepreneur, Twum-Barimah-Adu promises to deliver common prosperity to all Ghanaians if elected President.
