UK Authorities: No Record of £15m Seized from Ghana

The UK Financial Intelligence Unit and the Border Agency have refuted claims alleging that £15 million has been seized from an individual from Ghana.

Upon verification by Citi FM from both agencies, it was confirmed that there is no record of any such amount being seized from any Ghanaian.

Rumors circulating on social media suggested that a prominent member of the ruling New Patriotic Party was apprehended in the UK with £15 million impounded from them.

However, the UK Financial Intelligence Unit and the Border Agency have clarified that they have no records of any money being seized from any individual from Ghana.
