#NPP CONVEYS DEEP APPRECIATION TO AKUFO-ADDO.

The leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) extends sincere gratitude and appreciation to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his decisive government reshuffle. This includes the appointment of new Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), as well as Ministers and their Deputies.

In response to this, on February 14, 2023, President Akufo-Addo presented to Parliament, seeking prior approval through the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, the list of Ministers and Deputy Ministers of State. This action aligns with Articles 78, 79, and 256 of the 1992 constitution.

In a press release, the party continues to express its profound gratitude to the outgoing Ministers and Deputy Ministers for their commendable efforts. The party urges them to persist in supporting the collective pursuit of national development.

Furthermore, the party encourages the newly appointed individuals to introduce innovative ideas and demonstrate unwavering dedication in serving the citizens of Ghana.

“To the incoming appointees, we extend our congratulation message and warmest wishes. As they assume new responsibilities, we urge them to bring forth innovative ideas and unwavering dedication to serve the good people of Ghana”

In the press release, the party emphasized that the collective efforts of the newly appointed Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), Ministers, and Deputy Ministers will propel both the party and the government toward a historic victory in the forthcoming 2024 general elections.
