Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has stated that Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong and Brazil international forward Raphinha are available to play as the team enters a busy and difficult period in its schedule.
Barcelona are scheduled to play against Real Betis (ranked third in the Spanish La Liga at the time of writing), Paris Saint-Germain (in the UEFA Champions League) and the El Clasico against Real Madrid in their next three games.
However, Hansi Flick’s team’s depth got a major boost as De Jong and Raphinha returned to training after recovering from injuries.
“For me, it’s step by step. He-Raphinha-trained; he’s doing good. We have a lot of games, so we have to manage it. The good thing is that he’s available. Frenkie’s also available… Everyone knows he is a top player
“I am happy he is back. It gives us another option more. We have to see how it works, the evolution after the injury. It seems everything is good; the training and the quality is good. I think he’s ready to play some minutes” Flick said at a presser.
