The Hohoe Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Prosper Kumi, has appealed for additional relief supplies for residents affected by the recent flooding, saying urgent needs remain despite support received so far.
The appeal was made when Mr Kumi received relief items donated by A1 Restaurant for distribution to affected residents through the Municipal Assembly.
He expressed appreciation to the restaurant for the gesture and called on other organisations and individuals to contribute to the relief efforts.

Floodwaters in Hohoe are reportedly continuing to rise as runoff from parts of neighbouring Togo flows into the area.
The Member of Parliament for Hohoe, Thomas Worlanyo Tsekpor, earlier said more than 700 residents had sought shelter in classrooms after the floods damaged or destroyed homes and swept away personal belongings.
