Finance Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson says the 2027 Budget will outline the government’s plans to translate Ghana’s economic recovery into job opportunities, improved incomes and business growth.
He is expected to present the Budget Statement on Thursday, November 12.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Dr Forson said the next phase of the country’s economic recovery must result in tangible improvements in the living conditions of Ghanaians.
“Ghanaians made sacrifices to get our economy back on its feet. Now, that recovery must mean decent jobs for our young people, better incomes for our farmers and room for Ghanaian businesses to grow and hire,” he said.
He added: “Next week, I will show how the New Economy will turn the gains we have made together into jobs and prosperity for all.”
The Finance Minister’s comments suggest that the 2027 Budget will prioritise job creation, higher agricultural incomes and private-sector expansion, while setting out the government’s key economic plans for the year.
