Paris Saint-Germain produced a dominant display in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League action, thrashing Villarreal 6-0 away from home.

The French champions took control from the opening minutes, scoring four goals within the first 17 minutes to leave the hosts with little chance of recovery.

João Neves opened the scoring in the ninth minute before Désiré Doué and Senny Mayulu added two quick goals. Fabián Ruiz made it 4-0 in the 17th minute before completing his brace five minutes after the break.

David Boly sealed the emphatic victory with a sixth goal in the 78th minute, handing PSG their fourth win of the campaign and taking their points tally to 12.

Barcelona also secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Aston Villa at Camp Nou. Lamine Yamal broke the deadlock in the eighth minute before Raphinha struck twice in the second half to seal the win for the Spanish giants.

Bayern Munich, meanwhile, claimed a 2-0 away victory over Atletico Madrid. Lennart Karl opened the scoring in the 54th minute before Konrad Laimer doubled the advantage 20 minutes later to complete the German champions’ victory.

Inter Milan also cruised to a 3-0 victory over Feyenoord in Rotterdam, with Yann Bisseck, Francesco Pio Esposito and Piotr Zielinski all finding the net.

In other results, Galatasaray defeated Stuttgart 2-0, while Sporting CP secured a narrow 1-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk. LASK thrashed Slovan Bratislava 4-0, while Bodø/Glimt and Lille played out a goalless draw.

The victories further boosted the campaigns of PSG, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan as the Champions League league phase continued.
