New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Youth Organiser, Salam Mustapha, has pulled out of the race for the party’s National Organiser position.
His withdrawal was announced by the Chairman of the NPP Elections Committee, Frederick Opare Ansah, ahead of Wednesday’s balloting for the position, September 9, 2026.
Salam Mustapha was among the candidates vying for the NPP’s National Organiser position, with the election scheduled for October 3, 2026.
His withdrawal leaves the remaining candidates, including former Deputy Minister Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover, to battle for the position as the party prepares for its national executive elections.
The reasons for Mr Mustapha’s withdrawal have not yet been made public.
